Editorial and contents analysis



On this editorial and contents page, there are low angle 
shots of Pitbull in the right third, as well as an annotated copy of the cover to show where everything is (as well as the text below)

The language used is informal – the contents page is more like a blog than a formal magazine. It’s mainly directed at kids, as they understand simpler language.
Its structured so that everything has its own placement in the magazine.


Puffs as well as little coverlines and pictures are used to give little facts as well as “gossip” about the featuring stars in the magazine, such as Pitbull, JB, JLS, etc.



The editor (Zoe) writes to the audience (girls aged 8-13+) as friends, the way the magazine contents page is structured well, but written informally.
